Wahinkto Lodge is excited to announce that the New Lodge Advisor for the Wahinkto Lodge is Joe Robinette.
Joe Robinette exemplifies all the qualities wanted in a Lodge Advisor. He supports Scouting in many ways. An Eagle Scout, Joe has used those values throughout his life. Joe is the current Kittan Chapter Advisor.
Joe has really shined with his work as a Council Executive Board member and Chairman of the Camping committee. In 2011 he organized and led the Council Camporee celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the Alamo at Alamo Village. His efforts gave 250 boys the opportunity to visit the movie set and relate Scouting values to the defenders of the Alamo. He is a voice of reason and listens well to the various sides of the issues. Joe’s primary focus for this committee is creating a great program for the Scouts. He founded
Troop 222 in 1997 and has supported it ever since. He was the Committee Chairman for Pack 222 at a local elementary school. Joe led another Council Camporee in 2002 and has worked at countless district camporees and events. As a Scoutmaster Joe helps the boys become men. He has mentored over 29 Eagle Scouts. An Eagle Scout himself, Joe Robinette is an example to all who meet him.
I can think of no better man to lead the Lodge. The definition of “Once an Eagle, Always an Eagle” and all that it means to give back to Scouting.
Please welcome Joe as our Lodge Advisor effective February 1, 2017.
